Genealogy and DNA Interest Group
Suncoast Genealogy Society has an informal Genealogy and DNA Interest Group that usually meets the 2nd Monday of the month.
In the past we have studied Blaine Bettinger’s book “Family Tree Guide to DNA Testing and Genetic Genealogy” and we now study other Genealogy and DNA topics of interest at the meeting. We also watch YouTube videos, examine various research tools and share Genealogy and DNA stories from our members.

DNA Mentoring Program
SGS is now offering a DNA Mentoring Program that is available to all SGS members. This program is aimed at members just starting with DNA and need a little help. The mentoring will be conducted virtually via Zoom and staffed with knowledgeable SGS members. To request mentoring, please contact us via e-mail at “info@sgsfl.com”.
